  • The specially negotiated tuition for Nigerian students for the 3-year duration of the Programme is EURO 3,600. It is expected that part of the fees will be paid soon after receiving the admission and before the commencement of the programme.

  • YES, you can pay in 3 equal installments of Euros 1200 after your acceptance to the programme. The second installment would be Euros 1200 in the second and 1000 Euros at the beginning of the second year of study.

  • Consistent with what obtains in online studies, we are unable to offer a refund after studies have begun. However, students are allowed to continue with the studies after the holding period as negotiated with the university authorities.

  • The mode of course delivery is online. The e-learning system uses an advanced learning management system that delivers the courses using a variety of media which include video conferencing, computer based learning, CDs, telephone, short films all designed to engender independent and confidence-building learning experience.

  • There is flexibility with the scheduling of classes and peer group interaction and facilitation. While some students can choose to join live classes as they are held, others can choose to view the recording. The flexibility allows you , you can schedule your studies independently according to your schedules and provided that you submit course work , and sit exams as per dates prescribed.

  • The online learning experience at Pegaso International University is supported by various academic arrangements including a Student Adviser assigned at the beginning of the Programme, online and physical local academic Facilitators, programme designed to include substantial online and continuously interaction with lecturers and fellow learners.

  • European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) is a method of measuring your study programme as academic currency. A 3-year Bachelors programme has therefore 180 ECTS-credits; a 2-year Masters programme 120 ECTS-credits. On average, one ECTS credit point equals between 25-30 working hours.

  • The Nigerian Higher Education system has a general rule that to earn a Bachelor Degree a student must accumulate a minimum of 148 Credit Units for 5 years over 10-semesters, a minimum of 120 Credit Units for 4 years over 8 semesters for UME (100 Level) entrants and a minimum of 90 Credit Units for 3 years over 6 semesters for Direct (200 Level) entrants. The General Studies Courses (GST) are excluded. The ECTS and Nigeria Credit Units compare favourably. In general, 1 Credit Unit equals 1.5 ECTS.

  • Attachment to a fully registered Engineering outfit within the immediate environment that a student resides for professional attachment/internship for the duration of the programme to produce a well grounded, hands-on graduate ready to commence full engineering practice right after graduation and having been registered by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

  • The Programme is structured into three years of intensive study of courses split into 60 ECTS in the first year, 65 ECTS in the 2nd year and 65 ECTS in the 3rd year. The general subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Applied Geology, Geotechnics, and final Project and Dissertation.

  • On completion of the B.Sc Civil Engineering degree programme, the possibility of gaining employment with the special skills and knowledge gained, should be able to get employment in reputable engineering companies around the world, in addition to being very suited for the Nigerian engineering job market.

  • The entry qualifications are as specified by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for entry into Civil Engineering undergraduate programme in Nigerian universities. Candidates with Senior Secondary School Certificate, national Diploma, National Certificate in Education (technical), first degree in relevant and related programmes, are eligible for admission considerations into the various levels of the programme as appropriate.

  • The application process is simple and straight forward. Applicants are required to complete the necessary forms, afterwards having it screened through a couple of procedures and the admission letter issued to those qualified. There are no UTME or post-UME examinations involved.

  • YES Due to the online nature of the programme beginning of studies is guaranteed even during COVID-19 crisis.

  • Yes, you can defer your admission to a later date, provided that you notify the School and Partnership.

  • What happens to my tuition? Yes you can put the programme on hold after you have commenced. Your tuition would be rolled over to when you start again.

  • Yes. However at the moment, Pegaso International University, offers B.Sc Civil Engineering Programme specially to Nigeria whilst working on additional programmes. Galilee International Management Institute and E-Surfers Paradise Ltd run other programmes as you may find on their website.

  • After the programme is duly completed Pegaso International University would mail the certificate to graduates at their preferred mailing address.

  • Yes. E-Surfers Paradise provides local support to students who are enrolled in the B.Sc Civil Engineering programme for the duration of the programme The support includes: assisting with completion of the forms, placement for internship, provision of facilitation and facilitation and academic counselling and examination arrangements. In addition E-Surfers also offers support for visa application to students willing to explore the optional module in Israel in their 3rd year of studies.

  • Not really. All qualifications other than SSSCE will be evaluated for appropriate placement or exemption from taking some courses already taken, adjudged equivalent to the courses already being run by Pegaso International University B.Sc Programme. The course is already 3 years as opposed to the traditional 5 years for Engineering degree in Nigeria. The 3 years enables you to study all of the modules necessary to obtain your certificate.
